The latest release of the All in One Runtimes is out and we’ve added a bunch of features and fixed some longstanding issues. Here’s what's new: - The last version was incompatible with Visual Studio 2017, we now fully support it. - We now fully support Mono versions as low as 3.10, no more compiler errors! - You can now specify the directory you want to install the runtimes into, handy for those who want to use it as their default runtime environment. - We also fixed a few other bugs that were lingering around from our last release. In this version we fixed a few irritating bugs in the installer, please download the latest version from here to avoid installing it from a corrupt zip file. The last release of All in One Runtimes did not work with Visual Studio 2017 (it was having some serious issues with visual basic), but now it is fully compatible with Visual Studio 2017. This means All in One Runtimes is more portable than ever before. All in One Runtimes v2.4 brings a bunch of new features and improvements: - Support for the latest Mono framework (3.10). - Support for .NET Core 1.0, this was not possible before as .NET Core 2.0 wasn't released yet at that point. - Added support for Visual Basic as well as C# code, we now support both C# and VB. - We added the potential to use the runtimes in standalone mode (without Xamarin installed), useful if you don't want to install the full Visual Studio integration. - Fixed an issue that sometimes caused startup issues with Mono 4.0, v2.4 is now fully compatible with Mono 4.0 again All in One Runtimes is an all-in-one runtime environment which allows for running multiple (and really cool) .NET frameworks on any Windows or Mac OSX machine without having to install any additional software.
